East Side Running Camp

Scampering Amongst Mountains

In summer 2025, a small group of runners and friends will gather for a self-organized camp in the Eastern Sierra. We’ll be chasing peaks, sharing miles, and moving through this land with care and gratitude.

Itinerary

Our itinerary is tentative and may change based on group needs and desires, weather, trail conditions, or other factors.

Day One

  • Arrive in Mammoth
  • Duck Pass shake out run – 8 miles, ~1,700 feet of elevation gain + lots of opportunities for swimming.
  • This is an out-and-back so folks can choose their distance

Day Two

  • Granite Park/Italy Pass
  • 14 miles, ~4,500 feet of elevation gain
  • Another out-and-back with lots of opportunities for swimming and scampering up peaks.

Day Three

  • Bishop Sky Marathon
  • 25 miles, ~3,800 feet of elevation gain, point-to-point
  • Big Day Out!

  • Cloud Ripper
  • 12 miles, ~5,000 feet of elevation gain, out-and-back
